Events can be created/attatched to any post – now or edited. You create a new event at the time you create a new post using the “make me an event” administration form that is located in the New or Edit post menu below the main text editing area.

One thing that some people like to do (an see) is an image thumbnail next to an excerpt of a post. This little function has many uses but essentially what it does is ‘extract’ the first image in a post and allows you to display it as a thumbnail conversley the you maniplate the image who you want.

One problem many people have is excluding a specific category from their home page. Here is a function that does just that.
